They range from the well-known to the unknown.
They are offered at special valuation for a limited time, to convert art aficionados into art collectors.

I met Cintra Wilson not that long ago on a 90’s ChrisCraft, heading out to look for porpoises, harbor seals and anybody else we might see in the Bay. These boats can only fit so many good friends and if you’re not good friends at the outset, hopefully you will be by the time you’re docking. I knew I knew her name from somewhere - of course, Cintra was one of the pithy, eccentric fashion beings I worshipped, along with Lynn Yaeger and Andre Leon Talley, who I briefly got to work for in one of my first Manhattan temp jobs out of college.

Yes, they threw me into VOGUE like so much 20-year-old chum, sporting used shoes from Beacon’s Closet, into the very office that would later be lightly fictionalized in The Devil Wears Prada.

Along with her Substack, which is the first one I open, Cintra paints with a kind of Howard Finster-esque glee.

Thrilled to have longtime beloved art instigator, co-conspirator and adventure imp Swoon ring in with her Oracle Deck. A great opportunity to own a pocket divination companion, and to contemplate 88 pieces of her work daily.

Lastly, the third power female I’d hoped to include, she and I are having some kind of cosmic communication issue so she will be gracing a later edition. In her place I can offer a piece from the last jewelry collection I made - intended to sell at a street fair hosted by Ginny (speaking of fashion beings) at the amazing Seeker Vintage in Locke, CA.

Storms descended before I left San Francisco, we canceled the fair, I turned back and later that night the whole collection was stolen out of my car before anyone even got to see it. Except this piece, which I’d kept. I traveled to Portugal and France with only a carry-on (sacré-bleu!) so had to hoard only small treasures. The next jewelry collection will be made from my loot from the marché and hopefully it won’t take me another 3.5 years to get to it.

Swoon: @swoonhq
Sibylant Sisters Oracle Deck
88-card deck & booklet
$50
“The cards are a tool for storytelling and self-reflection.The tale is a spell sent backwards in time from an adult who made it through, to the little kid who wasn’t sure she could.

The Sibylant Sisters Oracle is a Southern-tall-tale storytelling deck. A mirror of sorts that asks you to use its symbols to better hear your own intuition. You can dig in to the written interpretations in the booklet included with your deck or listen to the meaning of each card read aloud by me via Instagram, TikTok or Youtube.

The deck is a first peek into a much larger narrative world, which includes paintings and sculptures, a traveling exhibition, theatrical performances, an in-progress novella, and plans for a live action and animated feature film.”
